Our Dinner...

Last night, we decided to have steak for dinner. Partly also because the meat chunks were big enough for steak and partly because there wasn't really enough space in the fridge. LoLz. And we decided to chill a bottle of red wine that we bought 1 month ago. LoLz.


This is really undrinkable. We have officially decided to use it as cooking wine to add flavour to food instead of a beverage. LoL. Oh, this blur picture is proudly taken by Wage. LoLz~ He must have been still half asleep!

No soup because this is already a lot of food. Oh, we don't have any wine glasses. May Ying and I forgot to buy them before we moved. LoLz. But well, no loss to us since the wine was horrid tasting. LoLz. Oooh! We had to use normal carrots because we didn't buy baby carrots. Quite a last minute idea to cook steak... Hee~

Louis decided to sleep while we ate dinner... Haha... It's a good sign... It means that he won't bother us when we eat! LoLz.

Oh, I made the sauce... Hahaha... Some pepper mushroom sauce... ;)

Louis' Day with the Vet and Other Stories

I had to bathe Louis today even though he already had a bath on Saturday. Guess why? That's because the vet was coming.

And so, the vet came... Hee~ Louis had his 3rd puppy vaccination and he got microchipped. The microchip need looks like the sharp end of the YEOS packet drink straw. Just a bit smaller. It's metal and damn sharp. When the needle went into Louis, he struggled and screamed and cried (well, the vet, Wage and I were all holding him). He still cried. I think of the time when Hugo got his. Hugo had no expression and there wasn't any bleeding because he sat so still that the vet could easy staunch the bleeding and thus, there was no mark at all. Then as for Oreo, he struggled and in the process, he got a tear in the skin. Though he bled quite a bit, he was really happy afterward. I brought Oreo down to PZ's and May Ying's then backyard to run around a bit.

So back to Louis, he cried and did all that you have to give me sympathy nonsense. He even tried to get some sympathy from the vet. Who mentioned that it was he who inflicted the pain onto Louis. And guess what's Louis' way of saying Thank You? He left a patch of blood stain on the Vet's shorts. How clever. That meant that Louis was still bleeding and I had to stop the blood flow before things get a bit messy.

Hmm... PZ came over for lunch then went for her Lab class. After lab, she came over. Well, we both took a nap with Louis sleeping in the room too. And well, we overslept and by dinner time, she hadn't even typed the notes that she wrote down in class! Haha~ So she stayed till after dinner to complete it. Ah... She reached home at around 2233h. LoLz~

Oh! Oh! Guess what? The minute she got up from my bed, Louis immediately took over her spot beside me. *bleahz* There's something about the bed that he seems to like....

Anyway, now that we've both worked so hard today, we decided to give ourselves a day off tomorrow and do online lectures instead. Hahahahahha~ We're both very smart right? Hahaha.

Liews.... I think Louis is preparing to sleep in my room already. He has already chosen his spot and is SLEEPING ALREADY! *urghz* I'd like to know who exactly owns the bed. Me or him. Me of course! I shall make him roll off then. Wahahahaha. Or maybe he'll just roll off it himself. He always does that. He does somersaults sometimes and also tries to jump up to my window but to no avail. It's just too high for him.

Okayyy.... I shall go and disturb him already! Wahahahahahaha!

Stupid Lecturer...

Liews... Today, the lecturer really made the whole lecture group (comprising of Year 2 and Year 3 Sociology students) super duper uber (sounds nice eh?) irritated.

She's this Associate Professor that really has no brains... It's a wonder how she can become such a successful academic in school (or at least she makes it sound as though she is one).

This was what happened in the lecture today.

Associate Professor (AP): I made a huge blunder. And I've allocated more time for all of us to sort it out. I'm terribly sorry about it and I honestly thought that I had your verbal consent I could post the list up with your emails. But I was told that I needed a written consent. All these things about the policies [Excuse me! You claim that you've been teaching for ages, yet you are UNAWARE of how the privacy policies in school work out? WTF!]... I'm so sorry I took such a long time because the admin staff was away on her leave/break. [So you only can DEPEND on the admin huh? I think anyone in any other department could have told you the same thing in a shorter span of time! Who ask you to take your own bloody sweet time?]
Girl 1 (G1) raises her hand.
G1: Would it possible if you use overheads so that we can see the names of the people in our groups?
AP: What a clever idea! You're so clever! [More like you're the pea brained idiot and the whole lecture group is freaking pissed off already] What a good suggestion!
The lecture group groans inwardly. PZ and I almost die of exasperation.
AP: But I don't have any thing to put on the OHP so that I can project it up. And there is another problem, which is all your email addresses are on the list...
Girl 2 (G2): You can use the white projecter. [it's the kind that you can use paper and the projecter can still read it and project it up. I'm not sure what's the name of it.] It will allow you to put the paper directly on it and still able to read it. And you can still cover the email addresses.
AP: Wow, that's a very intelligent suggestion. [By now, PZ and I already want to strangle her.] You're very smart. See, you can always learn from your students. You never stop learning. That's a splendid suggestion. But I'm not too sure how to operate it though I'm sure I can call for assistance. And I believe that you're all very smart and someone from the lecture group would even know how to work it. [Araghz! Fuck it lah! Just call for IT assistance you moron! But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.... She doesn't do that!] But anyway, I'll just read out the names slowly. And I want you all to raise your hands straight eyes and look for your group members. Also, I'll be passing around these 3 papers, 2 of which says that you agree to allow me to put up your email addresses and 1 says that you disagree. Now, print your name legibily so that I can read it otherwise you won't be allocated a group.

So she starts reading the names... pausing to see if people are aware of who their group members are but not exactly pausing in between groups! Talk about being so smart eh. She promptly missed out the names of a lot of people, PZ and I included. Damn! And we had to fill in another list for her to group us. And PZ's already gotten her group. But I haven't. Looks like I really got to get to school to check. And the next time that I go to Caulfield is Thursday! *Urghz* That stupid woman! Some kind of associate professor. Pui!

Oh well, that's about it man. School was really irky. Well, at least I didn't have psych lab today. Haha. So Shi Kai came over. And he got to play with Louis who was really excited to see Shi Kai.

Oh yes, Louis is sleeping in my room tonight. Just testing to see how it goes. LoL~ I hope it goes well. And he also pulled his pillow into my room already! Hahahahaha~ Oh! By the way, did I mention that on Friday night, we gave Louis some VB to drink? I think I did... LoLz...

Louis... and all his nonsense

Okay... Let's talk about... Louis... Haha~ He's full of nonsense. Just today alone, he not only brought his toy bone onto my bed to chew (something he picked up sometime last week), he brought his pillow (aka his bed) into my room! I think that's a really big hint of telling me that he wants to sleep in my room. Which he did. For a while at least. He napped at the door. And he growls each time someone opens or closes the toilet door which is relatively near my room. *bleahz* He thinks that he's some kind of guard dog. Haha.

Well, PZ decided to use my highlighters to highlight his fur. Okay, I did that to Hugo that's why I know that it can be washed off. Just that uh, PZ used multi-colours and now he looks like a pai kia (Literally translated to bad kid but actually means hooligan/gangster). Haha~ I'll take photos tomorrow because my camera battery went flat after taking a video of Louis being put into his pillow (like using it as a sleeping bag) by Wage.

Hmm... I ought to post pictures of Louis. I'll probably do it later on after school on Thursday (which happens to be today!) or later at night. Hee~ I've got to do readings for my presentation and I haven't gotten down to it yet. What's worse is that I have a 9am lecture (and I'm still up blogging) and a full day of 6 hours school with one pathetic hour of break for me to get to caulfield. *sianz*

That Rascal!

Guess what dear Louis has been doing? He's been trying to overtake my bed. Today, he practically used every single opportunity he had to climb onto my bed to lie down. And if you think that me lying in bed would be a deterrence factor, it certainly is not. He will still jump up and lie at my feet. *araghz*

To add on, he's been after those bottles of mineral water that I buy. I mean, sometimes I end up bringing those bottles back because I don't finish all the water. So I bring them home. And what he did was to take them out to the living room and chew them. What a lil' rascal! *hmpfz*

*yawnz* Super tired today because the rascal starting barking at 0800hours, waking me up. Damn! He wanted to eat and when I gave him his food, he didn't really want to finish it. Just look at how naughty he is man.

Oh, I cannot wait for tomorrow though. PZ and Christine are both staying over. Hey, we could all play monopoly together! Hee~ It'll be fun. Doesn't matter who wins or lose. Oh wait, but maybe we may have something more interesting to do though... Hmm... We'll see how it goes I guess....

Funny Dinner...

Today's dinner was certainly a lighthearted and funny affair. Pei Zhen and her housemate, Ken, came over for dinner today. Shessh, I forgot to take pictures. Damn! But anyway, dinner was absolute fun! We had many jokes, heaps of teasing and laughing. And we said heaps and heaps of really lame things too! LoLz~

Oh, I think Louis had heaps of fun too. So fun he actually fell asleep over the din we were making. And yes, we should have another RnB steamboat soon. Maybe when the weather gets colder (damn! The weather today is super hot! High of 33 degrees and Low of 21 degrees! Am I still in Singapore or what?) or maybe when we just get into the mood.

So anyway, come Saturday, Pei Zhen and Christine are going to stay over! Yay~ It's something like an all girls night. Well, something like. Because the only thing is that Wage is a guy. Boo hoo! Same same but different Hee~

Oh yes, I think that Wage owes this blog an entry. Goodness knows what he's up to now. LoLz~

What begins as a new journey...

I have no better title for this entry. Haha. But well, It's 1st March 2006 and the 3 of us have been staying together since 16th February 2006. That's the day Wage and I returned back to Melbourne. May Ying, on the other hand, was already back in Melbourne. =)

To sum up the long stories of what has been happening, let's just put it as the first week was an extremely busy one for us. And on 18th February, Wage bought a Pure Border Collie. It's an adorable little thing. =) I named him Louis. After the big brand name, Louis Vuitton. Haha! To think that I actually thought that all the brand name naming of animals would stop after Hugo. But I guess it just doesn't stop there.

Anyway, we finally got all our phone lines sorted out, plus the gas stove fixed (cuz' it screwed up after a few days of usage and Wage was the one using it when it screwed up). Oh yes, we after much travelling around Melbourne, we got our major (basic) appliances and most of our room furniture. Hee~

Ah yes... we even had PZ and Christine visiting already. Haha~ PZ even had the chance to stay over. LoL~ And, we also managed to squeeze in the time for a steamboat dinner. Power right? LoL~

Right now, it's mainly school and waiting for the high speed internet to be activated for us. =P After which, I'll definitely upload pics of Louis. He's a rascal.

Oh yes, in case you're wondering, why is the blog called anightmareonarnottstreet, the nightmare we're referring to is actually Louis. And that's why is 2 girls, 1 Guy and A Nightmare. Hahaha!~ It's interesting right?
